Q

How does NH3 react with bromomethane?

A

NH3 replaces Br but doesn’t fit so kicks off a hydrogen
Left over hydrogen and bromine join another NH3 to make NH4Br

Q

What are cfc’s and how did they impact the ozone layer?

A

CFC- Chloroflurocarbons
Under UV from the sun they form radicals and react with ozone (O3) to continue to form radicals
