Q

What are the rules of frequency distributions ?

A
  • Every interval is mutually exclusive
  • all intervals have the same width (i)
  • intervals are continuous
  • highest score is on top, lowest is at the bottom
  • 1st # in a f.d must be a multiple of i
  • the top and the bottom interval must have scores in them
  • if scores falls on exact limit you need to set up a rule
  • a good distribution would have more than 10 and less than 20 intervals
