When something new is introduced for a reason.
What is a change in tone?
Happy to sad
Angry to calm
What is long/short sentences?
Short - builds tension, makes action seem real.
Long - add detail and slow pace.
What is long/short paragraph?
Long - stands out
Short - stands out
What is shift in a focus?
Bounce, bounce, bounce. No specific detail.
What is a cyclical structure?
Ends at the start. Starts at the end. MOOD
What is a list?
Anything more than three things.
What is point of view?
Who or what the perspective is from.
What is chronological order?
Order of happening.
What is the climax?
The most important part of the extract.
