Surah Kahf Ayah 54-65

Question 1

وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ

Answer 1

When Musa said

Question 2

أَبْلُغَ

Answer 2

reach

Question 3

أَمْضِىَ حُقُبًا

Answer 3

Travel for a long time (determination to reach his goal)

Question 4

ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ

Answer 4

The two seas

Question 5

نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا

Answer 5

They forgot their fish

Question 6

فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا

Answer 6

When they passed further (the appointed place),

Question 7

نَصَبًا

Answer 7

Worn out/ suffered/fatigue

Question 8

إِلَى ٱلصَّخْرَةِ

Answer 8

To the rock to rest

Question 9

فَٱرْتَدَّا

Answer 9

The two turned back

Question 10

فَوَجَدَا

Answer 10

They found

Question 11

وَعَلَّمْنَـٰهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا عِلْمًا

Answer 11

We had given him a special knowledge of Our Own

Question 12

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِى هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ

Answer 12

We have given all kinds of examples مَثَلٍ in this Quran to make people understand this message

سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

The practice of previous nations/ former people

Question 16

ٱلْهُدَىٰ

The guidance

Question 17

مُبَشِّرِينَ

Answer 17

Give happy news

Question 18

وَمُنذِرِينَ

Answer 18

And warners

Question 19

قُلُوبِهِمْ
أَكِنَّةً

Answer 19

Hearts
cover

Question 20

هُزُوًا

Answer 20

ridicule/mocking/ make fun of somebody

Question 21

ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا

Answer 21

Ears
deafness

Question 22

لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ

Answer 22

To hasten their punishment/ speed up the punishment

Question 23

بَل لَّهُم مَّوْعِدٌ

Answer 23

But they will have an appointment

Question 24

وَتِلْكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ

Answer 24

And these towns got destroyed
