  1. Disulfiram (Antabuse)— alcohol exposure = negative symptoms *aversion therapy
  2. Naltrexone – opiod that suppresses cravings
  3. Acamprosate - helps with anxiety, dysphoria, restlessness and cravings

  1. Naloxone (narcane)— must be administered every few hours– side effect of aggression & violence
  2. Nalmefene – longer withdrawal period > 4 weeks
