• Poorly defined objectives lead to overly complex, inaccurate models or models that do not assist in the design process
• This will result in the right kind of concept model chosen, For example if the aim is to study the form and aesthetics of a phone model, a designer might stat out with an aesthetic model of a phone is non-functional
• Concept modelling is one of the early steps after evaluating the problem and forming the design brief and it will lay the foundations for the project. Poor modelling can lead to a failed design
