What are the symptoms of F11 deficiency?

A

Spontaneous bleeding is rare even with low factor levels
Patients are at risk of bleeding after surgery
F11 levels show poor correlation with symptoms

What are the risks in pregnancy to mother and baby in F11 deficiency?

A

*F11 doesn’t increase during pregnancy
*Levels should be checked:
At booking/ 3rd trimester/ prior to invasive procedures
* women are at increased risk of PPH especially blood group O
* NO special precautions for the baby are required for delivery.
