A
non-classical cadherins as TM proteins and adaptor proteins like plakoglobin, plakophilin and desmoplakin.

- intermediate filaments, for mechanical support
- microtubules, for organisation of the cytoplasm and positioning of the organelles
- actin filaments, for support of the PM, cell movement and signal transduction

composed of integrins, collagen and transmembrane proteins and adaptor proteins like plectin and dystonin

What is the difference between hemi desmosomes and focal adhesion in terms of attachment?
A
hemi desmosomes are linked to intermediate filaments while focal adhesions are linked to actin filaments
