Q

Where is price attracted?

Aviona FVG

A

Price is attracted to places in the market that are “inefficient”

Such as FVG price range.

So price wants to revisit them and “fill them in”

Q

What is a “measuring” FVG?

Aviona FVG

A

A measuring FVG forms during a bigger price movement but on a lower timeframe (e.g. 1min).

The measuring FVG will not get filled but it gives us an indication (indeed a measure) of the total price movement and so a confirmation of where out target exit should be.

We will measure from the get-away FVG to the measuring gap and project that price move to find our target.

Q

Name 3 different ways that price interacts with FVG

Aviona FVG

A

1) fills it with wicks only

2) fills it with both bodies and wicks but does not close beyond FVG. Thus respecting it

3) runs all over it with no respect

12
Q

1) why would FVG get filled completely but not get disrespected?

Aviona FVG

A

Price completely fills FVG while respecting it - meaning price does not close on the wrong side: price wants to follow the direction of the FVG:

BISI = go bearish
SIBI = go bullish

Q

3) What happens when FVG gets filled by wicks only?

Aviona FVG

A

We have a get-away FVG, probably the start of a bigger price movement in the direction of the FVG.

This FVG is also now a Volume Imbalance

Q

4) What happens when FVG gets filled with both bodies and wicks?

Aviona FVG

A

When FVG gets filled with both bodies and wicks, it is JUICY!

As long as it is respected by candle bodies (on the same time frame), it is valid even if wicks do not respect.

16
Q

What do I need to know about FVG and time?

Aviona FVG

A

Look at the FVG on the same time frame on which it was formed before jumping to conclusions about price movement.

17
Q

What do I need to learn about FVGs?

Aviona FVG

A

I need to learn how to understand what price is going to do while it is inside the FVG

18
Q

When is the optimal formation of this FVG?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

The optimal formation of this FVG is found after a run into buyside liquidity

19
Q

Where is this FVG typically found?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

It is typically found just above a single Price High or Multiple Price Highs (Double Top)

20
Q

When do I start looking for SIBI?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

Start looking for SIBI after
old high is taken out and price starts to drop

21
Q

When is the optimal formation of this FVG?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

The optimal formation of this FVG will be found after a run into sellside liquidity

22
Q

Where is this BISI typically found?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

It is typically found just below a single price low or mulitple price lows (Double Bottoms)

23
Q

When do I start looking for FVG?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

Start looking for BISI after
old low is taken out and price starts to rise

24
Q

1) when do I look for price swing on 15M?

2) When do I go down to lower time frame?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

1) look for the 1st swing high (sell) or swing low (buy) to left of 8:30

2) go to lower time frame as soon as price creates a new high or low and reverses direction.

25
Q

in this instance, when do I go to lower time frame?

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

as soon as price starts to trade lower (eye) and start looking for FVG

26
Q

study this out

ICT FVG/ Displacement

A

ICT is following along on the 1M chart while waiting for price to go abo
