When do you use y, o, pero and sino?

A

used to link parts of sentences together
Y changes to e when the following word starts with I or hi (but not hie)
O changes to u when the following word begins with o or ho
Pero is used to say but and Sino also means but when the second part of the sentence contradicts the first part with a negative (but rather)
