Almost 2000 years and it is still eveident today
Britain is a multi-faith society meaning people of faiths or no live side by side. The human right to religious freedom means that people are allowed to express their faith which is protected by the law.
Traditions
Traditonally Christians got to church on sunday and it was regarded as a day of rest. The hours shops can trade in sunday are restricted

Many lawsin Britains also shwo christian heritage as they are like the ten commandmens

Fesitavals
The christian calenar infleuces UK public holidays. The two major christians festivals are christanas and easter whcuha rea sttill widely celebrated in the UK. School holidays fall ober these periods in many businesses will close.
