Q

what does the hypothalamus do ?

A
  • links nervous to the endocrine system - maintains homeostasis of bodily systems.
  • ES is regulated by the hypothalamus, which signals a target gland to increase levels of a hormone.
  • When sufficient levels are met it shuts down.
