Q

Cons of a refracting telescope?

A
  1. Some light reflects of lens so the image will be faint
  2. To get a larger magnification the lens needs to be bigger, meaning heavier, more expensive and harder to produce.

Q

Pros of a refracting telescope?

A
  1. Low image distortion
  2. Low maintenance
  3. Doesn’t require collimination (aligning of the telescope to get a clear view)
