What is ATIS?
Automated Terminal Information Service, includes METAR, runways in use, instrument approaches in use, VFR arrival instructions, and NOTAMs
How do you communicate on initial contact with clearance delivery?
Who you are talking to, Who you are, aircraft type, where you are, where you are going, ATIS verification
To whom do you make radar advisory request if there is no clearance delivery frequency?
Ground control
How does radar advisory give traffic?
Position relative to track, altitude, heading, distance, and type
What is ARTCC?
Air Route Traffic Control Centers, they handle all IFR aircraft in controlled airspace
What are special transponder codes?
1200 - VFR, 7700 - Emergency, 7600 - Radio Failure, 7500 - Hijack, 7777 - Military Interceptor
