Q

What are 9 key principles for residual limb wrapping?

A
  1. No clips
  2. Anchor first
  3. Greater pressure distally and cover corners early to avoid making dog ears
  4. Avoid both medial and lateral wrapping in same turn
  5. Avoid wrinkles
  6. Avoid windows
  7. 3-4 layers
  8. Rewrap every 4-6 hours
  9. Show not be kept in place for more than 12 hrs without re-wrapping
