16
Q

Where is the air exhausted after wing anti-ice ?

A

Via a gap between the lower trailing edge of the slat and the fixed leading edge of the wing

17
Q

Why is the idle modified ?

A

FADEC modulates engine IDLE to meet the required pressure demand. This is achieved by increasing N1 idle or decreasing N1 limit.

18
Q

What happens to engine anti-ice valves in the event of a failure ?

A

They open automatically
