A

Measured by foot printing within three scopes.

Direct emissions (lighting, heating, printing)

Indirect emissions (transport, waste disposal, leased assets)

What are the three scopes of CO2 emission measurements?

A

Scope 1- direct GHG emissions from owned sources e.g boilers and company vehicles

Scope 2- indirect emissions e.g electricity bought for heating being produced on behalf of firm

Scope 3- indirect emissions that company is associated with e.g leased assets, business travel
