Roosevelt is replaced by Truman who is more suspicious of USSR and is less willing compromise with them. He wants to limit USSR’s sphere of influence but Stalin fears attacks from the west and believes the sphere of influence will help the soviet union. This makes it harder for Britain and USSR to work together
