What is the patient position for the sinuses projection?
Head first, supine, Sponge under knees
What should be done before advancing patient head into the gantry?
Make sure their head is positioned symmetrically.
What should you warn the patient of before their head passes into the gantry?
Close their eyes.
What is the internal laser for a sinus’s projection?
chin/mentum
Should the patient’s chin be tucked, or extended for a sinuses projection?
Tucked as much as possible.
What is the DFOV for a sinuses projection
16-18 cm
What is the coronal laser for a sinuses projection?
EAM or midway between EAM and outer canthus
The sinuses can be scanned in either helical, or axial. What is the scan start location for the axial scan?
Mid sella
The sinuses can be scanned in either helical, or axial. What is the scan end location for the axial scan?
through frontal sinus
