A

DEEP WEB: - The clear net but describes any part of the clear web that is not indexed by traditional search engines and includes pages that are behind pay walls or require log in credentials or are otherwise not
accessible to general public. Barriers to seeing these are low - easy to be given links to access.

DARK WEB: - a subset of the deep web - DARK WEB is a portion of the internet that is not indexed by search engines and not easily accessible through standard web browsers

DARK NETS are private encrypted networks - require software, configurations or permissions to access - can operate independently or within the dark web to provide secure and anonymous communication. Used for anonymity or hidden services. Main ones are Tor, Freenet and I2P. Tor and Freenet are easily downloaded and run. I2P is a bit more complicated.

HIDDEN SERVICES (aka onion services) are websites or online platforms that are accessible through the Tor network. These services operate on the dark web and are essentially making resources available
