  1. Connect the two computers with the cable
  2. Go to network and sharing center
  3. click on the connection section, showing ethernet in blue
  4. click on properties
  5. click on ipv4, and setup the Ip and subnet mask
  6. search and click on secpol.msc on the search bar
  7. click on network list manager policies
  8. click on unidentified networks, and select private, then apply and click ok
  9. right click on the folder you want to share, select properties, click on sharing
  10. click on share, click on the drop down and select everyone, click add.
    11.change the permission level to read/write
