good. all Latin American nations had joined hte US in WW2, however problems were ging to resurface, despite the good neighbor policy -> the US history of involvement was hard to forget. The Latin Americans countries also had internal problems like poverty. Which were going to have an adverse effect on Americans relations, as the US ignored them.
