Q

example if biological determinism

A

freud -child development occoured in 5 stages marked by different conflicts a child must resolve- if not leads to fixation

Q

what is the scientific emphasis on causal explanations?

A

science joke the principle all events have a cause. knowledge of the causes allows for predictions. in psychology experiments are used -IV and DV to allow psychologists to identify causes and predict behaviour
