Q

What is the difference between a Faro and a Gueuze?

A

Faro is a lambic-style beer with the addition of dark sugar. Faro is lower in alcohol than a Geuze. Sweetened either at the table or in the bottle with pasteurized bottles

Gueuze is a lambic beer that blends young and old lambic. Usually, one to three years old lambic is blended. The younger lambic has residual sugar, which leads to a second fermentation in the bottle.
