How do you configure a hotspot for tethering?

A

You enable the cellular data connection and turn on an additional hotspot setting that causes the device to broadcast a Wi-Fi network. Causing the device to broadcast a Wi-Fi network. The device will then serve as a router between the cellular network and traditional Wi-Fi being it’s broadcasting. Any devices you want to tether to the hotspot see the the device as a wireless router. You can also make a password so not just anyone can connect.

How do you configure airplane mode?

A

By hitting the airplane mode option, you can either switch on/off for disabling all wireless components. And can also be used to save battery power when these options aren’t needed.

How do you enable bluetooth pairing?

A

First enable bluetooth on the mobile device through the quick settings menu or full device settings menu. Next, power on the bluetooth device (or ensure bluetooth is enabled if the device is already on). Return to the mobile device to discover and select the bluetooth device for pairing and the enter the (PIN) personal identification number code. Then type the PIN code so the devices will connect.

How to configure POP3 and IMAP email?

A

Tap the add account option to bring up the default e-mail options. Tap the correct option and enter in the email address, domain, user name, password and description as normal. You’ll choose the other option and get prompted to pic either POP3 or IMAP and then enter in addresses for sending (SMTP) and receiving servers. Also enter the port number and security type like SSL or TLS if server cannot autoconfigure.
