NEUROTICISM
A
- Reflects a biological predisposition to respond psychologically to stressful situations/events.
- To respond emotionally

EXTROVERSION
A
- This refers to the amount of stimulation the person needs from their environment
- They like to take risks, crave excitement

PSYCHOTICISM
A
- There is the absence of the above traits and more high level traits such as aggression, coldness and impulsivity.

- It has been suggested that certain personality types are more likely to engage in crime and anti-social behaviour.

- Eysneck developed a psychometric test to see where each dimmension fitted a scale

A
- Eysneck believed people with high N scores found it more difficult to learn socially appropriate behaviours. He suggested the criminal behaviours therefore were linked to high E and N scores
- Psychotism scores did not develop until later on.

How does it work?
A
- A child is conditioned
- Child learns sense of right and wrong
- Child avoids behaviour which leads to punishment
- Child controls own impulses

- An introvert is a person with qualities of a personality type known as introversion, which means that they feel more comfortable focusing on their inner thoughts and ideas,

- People who are extroverts tend to be very talkative, sociable, active, and warm
