Dog or premises appears to pose no threat or bodily injury to the Meter Reader..
Code A - Dog
Two or more dogs on the premises
Code B - Dogs
One or more dogs pose a threat of bodily injury to the Meter Reader. If more than one dangerous dog is on the premises, Code “B” should be used in conjunction with Code “C”.
Code C - Dog Watch
Read is obtainable with the aid of a key, keycard, combination or assistance from a customer with a key to gain access to the meter or meters.
Code D - Key
A public relations problem may exist with this customer. The Meter Reader should exercise extra caution when on these premises and with customers.
Code E - Public Relations
Read is obtainable over or through a fence or other obstruction.
Code F - Fence
Read is obtainable with the aid of a monocular or binoculars.
Code G - Scope
Read is obtainable through a window, window screens, screen doors, security doors, mail slots, or any other available opening.
Code H - Screen
(Directional) The Meter Reader should enter a yard from an adjacent location (different from the traditional front entry).

An inaccessible meter condition, which requires continual customer access to obtain read(s).
Code S - Access
A remote electric meter that will require the use of another device for reading.
