Order of Balancing

A
  • Start balancing with METALS
  • Then NON-METALS
  • Leave oxygen and hydrogen until the end

Q

What to do if there is an odd number for coefficient?

A

When there’s an odd number, you can put a .5 on a singular element
Then, multiple all coefficients by 2
(ex. 9.5O2 → 19O2)
