Q

How did surveillance create stalemates on the field of battle?

A

Surveillance caused a stalemate too, as both sides developed radio methods, comms and the radar rapidly. Both sides were in sight of the enemy so neither had the element of surprise or the upper hand with regards to communication and spies.
