Ppl took their savings leaving banks bankrupt •shrinking demand: Canadian used exports but prices dropped •economic ties: US shut down Canadian operations which ppl loss jobs •protective tariffs: •raise price on foreign products that protect their industry from foreign competition •deflation: drop in prices
