Q

What are the main different between innate immune system and adaptive immune system, explain why?

A
  1. Innate is non specific immunity whereas adaptive is specific
  2. Innate is faster as its not specific whereas adaptive is slower but faster later
  3. Innate doesn’t have any immunological memory whereas adaptive has immunological memory
  4. Innates defense is not long lasting whereas adaptive is long lasting bc of memory cells
  5. Innate occurs at the site of infection whereas adaptive occurs in secondary lymphnoid organ
