2. Is the Instrument Negotiable?

To be negotiable, an instrument must meet the following requirements:

2. unconditional promise to pay(no conditions; ok to refer to other docs as long as promise not subject to those other docs)
3. Fixed principal amount
4. Payable to order (to specific person) or bearer (to whoever has possession; if characteristics of both, treat as bearer)
5. payable on demand at a definite time
6. No additional undertaking or instructions
