What does the long thoracic nerve supply? What is the origin?
Serratus anterior
Posterior aspect or anterior rami of mainly C5 and C6, also C7
What does the dorsal scapular nerve supply? What is the origin?
Rhomboids and occasionally levatator scapulae
Posterior aspect of anterior ramus of C5, sometimes C4
What does the supra scapular nerve supply? What is the origin?
Supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscles, glenohumeral joint
Superior trunk - mainly C5, also C6, often C4
What does the subclaviannerve supply? What is the origin?
Subclavius muscle and sternoclavicular joint
Superior trunk - mainly C6, also C5, often C4
What does the lateral pectoral nerve supply? What is the origin?
Pectoralis major
Side branch of lateral cord - mainly C6, also C6, C7
What does the musculocutaneous nerve supply? What is the origin?
Skin of lateral aspect of forearm, muscles of anterior compartment of arm (coracobrachialis, biceps brachii, brachialis)
Terminal branch of lateral cord - C5, C6, C7
What does the median nerve supply? What is the origin?
Muscles of anterior forearm compartment (EXCEPT flexor carpi ulnaris and ulnar half of flexor digitorum profundus), five extrinsic muscles in thenar half of palm and palmar skin.
Lateral root of median nerve (C6, C7)
Medial root of median nerve (C8, T1)
What does the medial pectoral nerve supply? What is the origin?
Pectoralis minor and sternocostal part of pectoralis major
Side branch of medial cord (C8, T1)
What does the medial cutaneous nerve of arm supply? What is the origin?
Skin of medial side of arm as distal as medial epicondyle of humerus and olecranon of ulna

What does the medial cutaneous nerve of forearm supply? What is the origin?
Skin of medial side of forearm as distal as wrist
Side branch of medial cord (C8, T1)
What does the ulnar nerve supply? What is the origin?
Flexor carpi ulnaris and ulnar half flexor digitorum profundus
