What is the purpose of the low fire?
To create a draft in burners which exceed 5 MMBtuh prior to high fire/main opening
Where does the dual head thermocouple connect to in the 2100?
Process and High temp thermocouple inputs
List the 6 dry contact inputs in the 2100
- Start 2. ESD 3. Proof of closure 4. High pressure 5. low pressure 6. Level
What is the start dry contact used for?
Remote start/stop typically connected to an independent PLC
What is the ESD dry contact used for?
Attached to an external emergency shutdown switch such as mushroom switch or PLC dry contact
What is the proof of closure dry contact used for?
To receive signal from a main valve with proof of closure output capabilities
What is the high pressure dry contact used for?
Placed after main valve as safety feature to shutdown when high pressure exists
What is the low pressure dry contact used for?
Connected to a low pressure switch installed in the fuel train
What and where is the low pressure setting in the menus?
Menu 4 System setup. Pressure/level delay
What is the level dry contact used for?
Connected to a level switch installed above the fire tube
What 2 things can the 4-20 mA contact be used for?
- temperature output 2. control a proportional valve (modulating)
What are the 3 main features of the Modbus expansion card?
- Remote monitoring 2. remote start/stop 3. remote setpoint adjustment
