Less than 32 weeks and birth weight less than 1500g its IVH due to prominent, cellular and vascular germinal matrix in the subventricular zone from which neurons and glial cells migrate in development

A

ANTERIOR cranial fossa
Cribiform plate- CN 1 bundles
MIDDLE
Optic- II, opthalmic artery and central retinal vein
Superior orbital fissure- 3,4,5.1 and 6, opthalmic vein and sympathetics
Foramen Rotundum- 5.2 (maxillary)
Foramen ovale- 5.3 (Mandibular)
Foramen Spinosum- Middle Meningeal artery and vein
POSTERIOR
Internal acoutic meatus- 7 and 8
Jugular foramen- 9, 10, 11 and jugular vein (foramen is behind carotid canal, petrous temporal and occipital bone. VERNET SYNDROME if affected
Hypoglossal Canal - 12
Foramen Magnum- Spinal roots of 11, Brain stem, Vertebral arteries
