parents help the children develop with the skills that they have been taught by a teacher or care worker etc. Care worker has to report back to families about their child’s progress.
why is working in partnership with parents and family important?
it’s important to implement (do) working with the parents and families because then information can be passed on about the child i.e. progress and medical reasons.
what could go wrong?
the care workers could put the child in danger for example an allergy to something and if the carer didn’t know then it could out the child into serious danger
what is fostering equality of opportunity?
all children should have the opportunity to meet their full potential, children should also not be labelled or stereotyped.
how will fostering equality of opportunity help the child?
boys and girls should be given the opportunity to play with all the toys
why is fostering equality of opportunity important?
it could upset the children also if a child isn’t given equal opportunities, they won’t meet their full potential
what could go wrong?
they would miss out on learning, they wouldn’t meet their full potential so they wouldn’t be able achieve as high as they could.
