  • The proximity to the ground without appropriate gear and flap selections.
  • At high speed to inform the pilot of ground proximity and will broadcast the alert “TOO LOW TERRAIN”
  • At lower speeds if close to the ground the system will tell the pilot of the unusual situation with the alert:
    • TOO LOW GEAR
    • TOO LOW FLAPS
  • Many authorities regard the high speed situation as a warning and immediate climb action is required.
