Q

3 Principals for Chronic Long Bi (or Prostatitis)

A
  1. Treat the Root FIRST, combined with some branch Tx (Kidney is a key organ, so Root is usually Kidney Yang Xu) - if we just promote urination over and over we won’t treat root. Usually low back pain, weak knees, Qi position usually very weak on both sides (deep, thin, weak), so need to Warm and Tonify Kidney Yang (Shen Qi Wan). Branch is the retention of water, which does need to be cleared.
  2. Dz and Pattern Tx together. Use seaweed to soften nodules, which could be blood stasis, phlegm, etc. Salt soften things
  3. Experience - we know that LJ Dz we treat upper and push down, but lift first so that it doesn’t do bad stuff.
