What is the clinical significance of an amaurosis fugax?
A
This suggests carotid artery disease. This is because this artery feeds the opthalmic artery so ischaemia here would affect vision in the ipsalateral eye

What would unilateral eye involvement suggest?
A
This would suggest a problem, eg a bleed/caroid artery thrombosis, before the optic chiasm
eg, opthalmic artery of Internal carotid

What would a homonymous hemianopia suggest?
A
An issue posterior to the chiasm, eg in the occipital lobe (PCA infarct)
