A female having a critical level of body fat which is necessary for pregnancy, and triggers hormonal changes in puberty

- pruning of neural connections in the Prefrontal Cortex and Limbic System
- mylenization between the Prefrontal Cortex and Limbic system

Strengthening of neural connections
What could explain why some teenagers behave more impulsively than adults, why they are prone to peer pressure, and lack reasoning ability to foresee consequences?
