Qué hora es?
Since “hora” is feminine, articles will be “ la and las”.
One is singular and uses “la and es”, all other times are plural and use “las and son”.

Son las diez menos cuarto de la noche
NOTE: Noche starts at 9pm.
Around about 10 o’clock .

Towards the end of the year.

Hacia = Towards, only when dealing with the concept of time does it mean “around”.
