A
controls the way we receive process and respond to stimuli, that is divided into two main divisions, central and peripheral nervous systems.

what is the central nervous system?
A
contains the brain and spinal cord. It receives sensory information from the body or PNS in the brain, and sends motor information from the brain to the body via the spinal cord.
