Principle Engineer
OC Air Eng. the senior engineer responsible for ensuring the delivery of eng standards and practices.
Eng managers
In charge of bays, sections, flights or squadrons. Responsible for engineering management, care, custody and security of personnel and technical equipment.
Eng ops controller
Coordination of Eng and logistics resources in support of Waddington flying tasks and maintenance activities.
Maint control
Plan and schedule maintenance in line with time limitations. Control workforce and output for each shift.
Trade managers
Are the SME for their given field. TM for mech, AV, Cyber and armourer.
Tradesperson
- Task completed IAW WI
- When a replacement is fitted it has been checked it is the correct replacement part.
- Loose article check carried out.
- Carried out visual survey of equipment.
- Detachable panels and doors have been closed or refitted after maint.
- Tool procedures have been carried out.
JNCO
- Check the tradesperson is authd, competent, had been briefed and has access to tools/WIs required.
- The work has been completed IAW a WI.
- Documentation entries include work done, is legible and quotes WI ref and amendment state.
- Func tests have been carried out and documented.
- Independent inspections have been identified and documented.
Stn H&S and EP
Manage workforce and ensure h&s safety standards are upheld e.g lone working, DSE, manual handling. The sharepoint site total safety has details on COSHH assessments and Risk assessments. further details outlined on the HSE website.
Aircraft maintenance log 707A
Where all faults and actions taken are recorded. An aircraft is placed US when a work entry is raised.
Limitation Log F703
A limitation is a restriction on the handling or operation on an aircraft in any role it is expected to take.
AFD F704
Information on damage that has been logged but does not prevent flight.
Flight servicing form F705
Details on pre/post flight.

Record of maintenance and when it is next due.
