Describe the differences between Hinduism and Buddhism

A

The goal of Hinduism is to unite with a universal spirit called brahman. Hindus must pass through many lives to reach the Brahman called reincarnation. Hindus must follow Dharma and perform the official duties of their task in order to get good karma and be reincarnated into a higher caste.

In Buddhism, the only way to find the truth about the world is to give up all desires. I giving up all desires pain and sorrow would vanish, A person would reach Nirvana, the state of wisdom.
