Origins of psychology- Wilhelm Wundt
A
Considered to be the father of psychology
Did an experiment with controlled conditions in the University of Leipzig 1879.
Wrote the first psychological book called ‘Principles of Physiological Psychology’.

What did he want to study?
A
Introspection - a method of studying the brain (which can be slightly complex) and breaking it down into smaller and basic parts e.g. thoughts, images and sensations.
Structuralism- which is an experimental method which can help find any building blocks of thought.
