What is an RS in IPv6?
A Router Solicitation - a device using stateless autoconfiguration will send a Router Solicitation to each router’s multicast address in order to obtain prefix information for its link-local address.
What is an RA in IPv6?
A Router Advertisement - routers send prefix information out to other nodes on a network periodically in RAs - they also send them out in response to Router Solicitations sent by devices that need an IPv6 address.

How does IPv6 allow for smaller routing tables in internet routers?
