Stage 1: (rite if welcome) candidates make initial inquiry about catholic faith
Stage 2: (rite if election) a period of learning the teachings of the Catholic initiation
Stage 3: (sacraments of initiation)
Stage 4: (missioning ceremony) having received the sacraments at the Easter Vigil the new Catholics reflect on the direction of their lives
