What are extremophiles?
A
Organisms that are able to survive in extreme environments.

What happens to organisms when they get bigger?
A
Their total surface area to volume ration becomes less.

What adaptations does a cactus have?
A
- stem➡️thick tall stem stores water
- roots➡️grow sideways along ground to try and find water
- spines➡️spines don’t lose water & protects itself from animals

What adaptations does a fennec fox have?
A
- small➡️to lose heat quickly
- large ears➡️blood to surface so will lose heat
- no fat➡️no insulation as otherwise gets too hot
