A

can be initiated hematuria or dissassociated from urination. distal to bladder

usually urethra, vagina, penis/prepuce, prostate

when collecting urine should you go for free catch or cysto?

A

start with free catch that way if there is hematuria, you will know that you did not cause it.

  1. LUTI - bladder, urethra, prostate, vagina, prepuce, penis
  2. UUTI - kidneys & ureters though its super rare for ureters to cause macroscopic hematuria
  3. systemic dz
  4. other pigment
