Ally

a loyalist is someone who stays faithful to a party or government even during times of upheaval and revolt.

A blockade is an obstacle that stands between you and something you’re trying to reach.

a mercenary is, after all, a soldier who gets paid to fight where needed, sometimes taking a heroic stand and other times just wanting payment for fighting.

a military operation in which enemy forces surround a town or building, cutting off essential supplies, with the aim of compelling the surrender of those inside.
